Ps: just a good price (or extra warranty) might also be good.

Pps: if anyone knows if there is a new one that is supposed to come out, I'd like to know, as they are a bit thick, if I want to lie on my side.

SquareTrade  will probably warranty this within 90 days of purchase.

You have 90 days to purchase the warranty, IIRC the warranty lasts three years from original purchase date of the item.

AMEX will give you an extra year warranty, so 2 years for free.
QC15's are worth every last cent if you fly.  Amazing headphones.

Fly or use the subway. (Not driving !)

in CLT, they drove me nuts in a shop that I must buy the sehnheiser one, but when I saw the price tag of $499, it just became easier to shake them off me.

Still I wouldn't mind if they were flatter.

The qc3 is no comparison to qc15, I tried them both.

Its usually too narrow, and don't manage to bend over double to get my face on the table.

I hadn't fallen asleep once (all year) in school when I was 16, and clocked the most hours the year I was 19-20.

In retrospect, it was an utter waste of quality time.

QC15 definitely rocks! about warranty, bose will replace almost any headphones even after they are out of warranty with the same model for $60-$80, i dont remember the exact amount.

I read that if you have a QC2 with a problem you can switch it to a new QC15 for just $90 as they no longer have QC2s to replace them with.

Seems like Ebay FTW in this case...
