The reviews?
You mean these mediocre ones?
http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/beats-solo-by-dr/4505-7877_7-33855891.html
5/10 performance?
3/5 star average customer review?

"The good: The Beats Solo by Dr. Dre Headphones from Monster offer a stylish, compact, and durable design that lends itself well to on-the-go use. The cable is ultranice and features an integrated mic, iPod controls, and volume rocker. Bass is thumping, and the package includes a handy carrying case.

The bad: The Beats Solo headphones may not be comfortable for everyone, audio is muddy overall, and they leak a fair amount of sound.

The bottom line: The Beats Solo by Dr. Dre Headphones from Monster offer a killer, travel-friendly design that's sure to turn heads, but the audio quality fails to live up to the price tag."

Spend the $$$ and get the QC15s IMHO.

You can find 10 good reviews for every 1 bad one. And is the purpose of this thtread to convince ppl not to buy things they are looking for deals on? Or to help another yid find a deal ;)

The deal is saving a yid from spending $$$ on what should be $10 headphones in a pretty package.

Yep, that's the review I was talking about.

Maybe your right.   They are big here in israel (where btw they cost three times the price) and ppl seem to like them. But it could be your right Dan

btw is there anywhere on this site where someone who has no mileage experience and just one no miles/points capital one credit card, can get major advice on diff. paths to take?

Also any tips on how to get approved for a credit card if unemployed but i still use thousands of dollars on credit card and pay with money order?    thanks alot dan

You want to read the credit cards forum and look for the posts that describe the different cards.   There is tons of info there!
The Chase Sapphire is popular now because it gives a great sign up bonus.  While getting it you also can attempt a 2 or 3 browser method (do a search in the credit card forum for info) and either get an ink business card or a freedom with a descent sign up bonus pretty good benefits and no annual fee.

It seems that everyone in this thread is discrediting Beats. They may not be the same as the QC15 but they're great.

I don't know much about them, but reviews are definitely no proof as the products target consumer are people who are not capable of writing a review

Give a couple days for reviews, it was only released yesterday.

When Allen Iverson was traded for the first time, SI had the following bit:

Our Denver street reporter was amazed at a 150% jump in sightings of Allen Iverson Jerseys around town. At the same time, Reebok was happy to announce a solid 20% sales jump in Iverson merchandise.

I believe that the same will apply here :)
