No need to go higher than that for a good pair.
The Audio-Technica M50's are an awesome pair. They cost $160 on Amazon right now, but drop frequently in price. If you keep an eye on them, you can probably get them for $110. I picked up a pair in November for $105.

ANC inherently changes the sound quality. Don't get it unless you need it.
