Im waiting for a second opinion.
Here is my 2 cents.
The headphones are very comfortable and well constructed with some interesting design tweaks. The cable is detachable from the headphones which is very smart as the cable is always the most fragile part of the headphones, hence a broken cable doesn't equal a useless pair of headphones. The 3.5mm audio connector is at a 90 degree angle which reduces the strain endured by the cable as that area is the most fragile part of the cable. The right angle could make it a bit awkward depending on where your headphone jack is situated on your phone/device.
There is a bit of noise isolation from the circumaural design but not much, maybe ±10db. The suede cups are very comfortable and you should be able to wear them for hours at a time with minimal discomfort.
In terms of the sound, the bass is prominent and well balanced but lacks tightness, becoming a little boomy at times. The midrange, which is the most important part of musical reproduction is where these headphones shine. Instruments are clear and transparent with multi-layered music reproduced distinctly and not blending together. The headphones are also accurate with both male and female voices.
The high end is the most disappointing part of the headphones. It is harsh and unrefined with high levels of
sibilance that can become fatiguing for the ears during long listening periods. It's possible that this can disappear after a longer break-in period but I listened to yossi4k's pair with 50 hours on it already and it was heavily present in the sound so I wouldn't hold out hope.
Spatial imaging is very good with a wide soundstage.
Worth $47? Absolutely.
