Klipsch S4i-II $39.99 again

I bought them yesterday and got them today. For some reason the volume buttons on the wire wont work. (I'm using a Galaxy S3).

Anyone else having this issue?

The "i" in the S4i model stands for iphone/Apple compatible, so they don't work with android phones. In fact, most earphones with in-line controls are made for Apple devices. But the S4a model is for android, that's why I asked if there's a deal on those, or if anyone recommends another good android earphones...

The headphones will not work to make phone calls. Period. You cant even listen to a conversation on them. Do not buy if you have android.

There might be apps that can fix the problem like this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kober.headset

Thanks but its not just the button that has the issue. You cannot hear a caller when using as a headset.

I bought the Logitech UE 9000 when it was $149. I would like to pair it with my LG smart tv that does not have Bluetooth capabilities. I know there are Bluetooth dongles out there and the tv does have USB and audio slots. I would prefer a USB dongle but they all seem to only work with a computer.  Anyone know of a good Bluetooth adapter that would work?

What are you comparing to, Bose in-ear headphones? I've never actually heard of someone buying those. Either way, there are no Bose headphones at the $40 you shelled out for S4's. You'd be hard pressed to find an equivalent for that price or less.

Has anyone used something like the Nest earbud case? Are these things worthwhile? I keep losing the rubber tips off all my earbuds, usually because they get snagged on my pocket, or whatever I'm taking the headphones out of. Seems like this might be a solution, but I don't know if I want to spend half of what I spend on earbuds on the case.

Why don't you glue the tips on?

I could try, but if i don't do it well i probably end up ruining the earbuds. Besides, it's nice not to have to untangle the cord all the time either.

Use a good glue and you should be fine.
That things looks like it would be more trouble than its worth. Does it have good reviews?
