I'm looking for real good quality earbuds. I heard plenty of good things about the klipsch s4-i (I want a mic as well) butbut read up reviews from some sound junkies that it's not real sound because of the overkill of bass...
Any ideas?

If your price range is $40 not sure how you'd beat the Klipsch.

I'm willing to go higher than that for better sound...

lol, I'll keep it in mind. I got a fancy pair of sennheiser earbuds a while back, they were amazing, until I got Qc15's. Now I can't use my earbuds, just doesn't sound normal.

Just my experience with earbuds is there are no amazing quality ones. I'd go for headphones and if you don't need noise cancelling the Audio-Technica I posted yesterday are the way to go.

It works in price ranges. Going up an incremental amount will not necessarily give you a corresponding incremental quality increase.

These are very good.

There definitely are, they are just priced very high.
Thanks Jay!

Not necessarily better, just different.
Sound is very subjective.

If you run a lot , I would suggest getting something that has a fabric or braided cable and a clip on the cable to reduce cable microphonics.
