Here's an update:
Just got off UA 85 which is the older 777-200 serviced by sCO. After sleeping most of the flight on the much wider/spacious seat (!) I went to the make a coffee in the back, and started to tell the FA about my experience with sUA.
Boy was she glad that they were not managing, "complain to united and maybe they'll give us back the route....". Soon all the others joined the convo, with the same attitude " those sUA don't know what their doing......"
They were all very upset that sUA took away this route from them.
"Why are you talking like that about your colleagues like that , you all work under one brand after all"?
" na, everyone knows its 2 separate airlines, and we are continental! "
"They have their own rules, and don't want to listen to our advice on how to do things, so its too bad on them" .......
And were very happy to hear that a travel blog with a large Jewish following wrote it up.
