want to go anywhere in europe

hey everyone, myself and 2 friends are planning on going to Europe on a backpacking trip this summer from august 10 to around the 31st , we plan on taking trains around to almost every country, were looking now for the cheapest country to fly to in Europe if anyone has any ideas that would be great.
 also if anyone knows if we can get to Israel as well with some stop over type of thing at the end of the vacation that would be cool. we have amex points and/or cash and want to get there with whichever would end up being cheaper..

Welcome to the forums. What dates are you travelling and which countries (besides for Israel) do you plan on visiting?

we plan on leaving ny on augest 10 and returning to ny anytime around the 31st of augest (a little before or after doesnt make for a difference) 

we plan on covering the main western countries - France, Switzerland, Italy, Holland etc..   we didn't really plan the exact details yet , we are looking to get our flights at the best rate so we can plan the vacation from there.
