Depends on your Amex defaults for personal and business (typically based on the State you live in). I've successfully gotten one pull for three Amex apps, combining business and personal cards (IIRC it was personal PR Gold, personal Plat and SPG Biz). YMMV.

It depends on the issuer. Citi has the personal and biz cards in different branches so the personal pulls are done from SD and the biz ones from FL. The bureaus differentiate between these (well, eq does for me, in PA) and don't combine them. AsherO's amex ones probably had the same address (or vendor code or whatever) so the bureau combined them. Maybe it's an Ex thing in NJ/NY (wherever he is, I forget).

This information is all anecdotal and we're pretty much guessing at the whys....

If you read the thread, it says offer code 6499 makes it so you only have to spend 1k, I'm hoping to get that one.

I think Dan said it's generally better to hit spend first, then call and ask to be matched.

I was told once that 6499 is incorrect for that offer...maybe they heard wrong or s/t.
