I just called up all three AS locations in Brooklyn, Flatbush told me they never have hockey sticks, and Wburg and Midwood told me they had it, but now it's out of stock...

Try linicks toys in BP. I believe they are the ones that sell to alot of the local camps.

Any thoughts on these? I personally don't like a wooden shaft, i think plastic last longer.

plastic does not last longer and wooden is better (at least for the game) although when u buy the wooden sticks make sure that they are meant for street hockey and not ice hockey. otherwise they'll fall apart very quickly

The second link i copied, is a wooden stick with a plastic shaft, which is very good, being that wooden on street hockey gets scratched very fast. And i would like to buy it but i just don't know if 34 inches is long enough for 10 year olds. Any enlightening will be appreciated.
