Selling on amazon
« on: May 17, 2017, 09:15:37 AM »
We are a manufacturer of a product. we're starting to roll out sales on Amazon of our product, my question is, is it better to have the other sellers  continue selling the product as it will look like an item is more in demand, or is it better for me to restrict them from selling on Amazon so that were the exclusive seller?

I think it's more worth it to restrict the item, then you get to dictate the price without any competition. If you want to boost your sales you can advertise through amazon, you shouldn't bring in competition to do that, especially since amazon won't let you advertise if you don't have the buy box.
