I have one card that chase closed literally 2 days after applying for it.
But it shows up on my CR and now I'm 5/24.

Is there anything I can do to get it off my CR?
Dispute it as a error application

Any chance chase will take adverse action? Will they even know that I disputed the account?

Any risk disputing a legitimate application?

Dp, I just had success in getting approved for the Chase Ink Preferred even though I am 5/24. My Chase Private Client banker was able to send an application to my email and have me fill it out. You may need to provide a valid reason for wanting another card though. For instance I did not have any business cards with Chase.. Anyone else have success in bypassing Chase 5/24?

I thought Chase PC doesn't help.

I thought so to until now. It worked for my wife and I, hence the dp;)

I disputed the account with Experian on the basis that the account is closed (Which interestingly is one of the options you can select).
And The account was removed!

Dan got a new CSR card after 4 years. He hasn't applied for 5 cards in two years? Or there is a way around it?

right, which is why i'm sure he figured it out. otherwise, he would just say he held off so he could apply again.

so its a riddle for us to figure out

What's the conspiracy theory here? That since he's an affiliate they treat him differently? Definitely possible; though I tend to say it's highly improbable.

Occam's razor says that he probably strategically applied to consumer cards over the past few years, same as the rest of us. There are plenty of lucrative business cards.

There is or was a way to get around 5/24 for business cards by doing a paper application. There could be a way for personal cards too.

If you mean applying for biz cards, that's not any secret, must be something else
