I don't think so.

Wouldn't it matter when the old date was?
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

If the old date was 3 years ago it would not matter for 5/24 but if it was 1 year ago then it would matter, no?

It still doesn't matter, the point is that the new card is the same as the old one as far as 5/24 is concerned, meaning you won't have to wait another 2 years after the PC for it to fall off 5/24.

Currently at lol/24. Two chase login accounts, one personal, one with business checking. Have always had black star offers even for cards that I already have but based on recent posts at link below I tried black star offers and one of the applications pulled up, pre-filled with everything except business info, applied, and was approved.

No, unless you have an offer that would typically bypass 5/24.

No, it's a cobranded card, so it can only be changed to/from cards in the same brand family.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Dp, I just had success in getting approved for the Chase Ink Preferred even though I am 5/24. My Chase Private Client banker was able to send an application to my email and have me fill it out. You may need to provide a valid reason for wanting another card though. For instance I did not have any business cards with Chase.. Anyone else have success in bypassing Chase 5/24?

I have one card that chase closed literally 2 days after applying for it.
But it shows up on my CR and now I'm 5/24.

Is there anything I can do to get it off my CR?
