Numbers are always quoted in SGD.
So about 133 usd. Either way I decided to go that route both because if I give value to my existing United balance it changes the math, and because my account stays cleaner for future sales if I don't use it now

Also much cheaper change fee.

I have an upcoming trip NY-TLV in business/first - choosing between Delta One or UA (hopefully can make the -300ER work). Im guessing Ill be happy either way but was wondering how the kosher meals were?

I personally prefer the UA afternoon flight out of EWR for the schedule (I prefer arriving in TLV in the morning, rather than for evening rush hour).

What can you already expect in KSML ex-NYC? and ex-TLV they will both give you Masbia IINM.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

While I wait for my UR-SQ to post TK business opened up for my dates, which is better than UA F to LH fake J per opinions above. Of course this will leave me with leftover SQ at this point, unfortunately, but still seems like a better plan (and hopefully I'll sell the SQ eventually) I assume that's also better than my other idea of waitlisting SQ J for the JFK-FRA leg. Unfortunately suites aren't available even for waitlist for the date I need, and because of childcare arrangements my dates are not flexible.

So would the experts here agree that TK J > SQ J + LH fake J > UA F + LH fake J?

And how would that calculation change if I could potentially get SQ suites, if they open up (at least for waitlist) before I book?

Well, that was fast. The TK availability is gone, maybe it never really existed? Which leaves the question of waitlisting SQ business vs. UA F for the first leg (obviously if I could waitlist SQ suites vs UA F that would be a no brainer)

TK availability is very fluid IME. I would definitely take TK with real J and shorter flight than any Fake J (longer flight). That being said, I did get Fake J on a TK flight in the past, so YMMV, but it's a shorter flight.

I also know of a couple of places trying to get into the business too.

Main memory from that is disposable cutlery super wrapped in shrink wrap.

I assume you are talking about the airline catering business.

As long as the LSG stranglehold exists on delivery to the airports, I don't see any meaningful improvement.

Yeah but my OS FA brought a scissors to cut it open. THey knew right away they would need it and brought it on their own.

On recent TK flight from JFK seems like Wise might have gotten a partial message (or maybe it was a different employee packing). Unwrapping the Saran Wrap off the plastic cutlery was actually doable without need for any tools (however knife was already broken).

If someone at Wise reads this thread — PLEASE don’t omit the salt and pepper!

While I didn’t touch the hot portion, the rest was quite decent. And as far as Kashrus goes I definitely trust them. Probably the best KSML option ex NYC.

On my connection from IST to TLV, luckily staff at Business Lounge were able to put me on an earlier flight, resulting in a shorter layover.

However, the flight I took was an A321-200 with Fake J. An apparently famous basketball player was on the flight, I really felt bad for him, sitting in those cramped seats.

Is there any way of knowing what kind of J product is on their flights. I've been on TK A321s (I think it was 321 and not 320) that had a real J product. Though in this specific case, arriving earlier took precedence over comfort, so I would have opted for this flight, even if I would have learned that the later one was real J.
