« on: September 11, 2012, 03:47:34 PM »
if on my passport now there is a little mistake of one letter and in 2 years when i renew i will change it to the good name
on witch name should i make my ff elite miles
example my name is tuli on my passport it says tuly
so now i book tickets with the name tuly
so will i be able to change it to tuli when i fix back my passport or it wouldnt be possible and i shouldnt waste earning miles on this name till i change my passport

I think you will be ok. The airlines usually allow you to fix up a name thats spelled slightly off.

If it's a US passport I think you might be able to get a new passport with the correct name issued for free, might want to check with the State Dept/Passport Agency. Might be worth doing this instead of waiting the two years, if you're lucky they'll issue you a passport expiring in 10 years.

See this page for details.
