Just got an email from Capital One that they are moving from clearXchange to Zelle
By checking their list of partners I see Chase there too, does that mean Chase is also making the switch?...
Is it clearXchange just merging with another company?
Also limits previously capped by CXC will now be controlled by C1

Do most banks with zelle have instant transfers like bofa and chase?

But there's always a chance that it can be delayed for various reasons

Depends on size of transfer... I found that cap1 holds funds for 3 days when over 1k. Didn’t have that with chase.

I found that Capital One holds for 3 days with all transfers. Chase and WF were instant.

TD transfers instantly, shows up on balance, but lists as pending for a day or so, so not sure exactly what the deal is.

Smaller transactions were instant for me with Cap 1.

Weird. Doesn't seem the type to be YMMV. Perhaps it depends on the account status, age etc.?

the first time I did it on Cap 1 it took a few days but since then its been instantaneous

Tried sending money from citizens bank account to a chase accnt with zelle in the citizens app. It says that if the email is registered with zelle it receives the money pretty quickly. Yet in my case i tried sending on wed and it says it'll get to the account on tuesday. Is this normal?

I dont know about citizen bank but i use zelle with chase, bank of america, capital one and wells fargo and it is instant. I think there are some banks that take longer but that seems way to long. You sure it was through zelle and not ach?.

Yes. I use it a ton with chase. First time with citizens and it doesn't seem to be instant at all. It def is zelle

I just had a payment from Usaa to chase with zelle and it wasn’t instant. I guess sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. Very not cool.

Did you at least get an email to the address associated with the chase account that you're being sent money? In my case i didnt even receive an email...

Yes I got email. It said it’s gonna be available in 3 days

Is there a way to make a user account so an employee can send or receive money but they can't see the account balance?
