Zelle app seems to have a way to change name, but as far as I can tell, zelle doesn't let you use their app with BofA or chase, they just direct you to the bank app.

Which banks allow you to use Zelle's app? Or is that only for receiving payments when your bank doesn't participate with Zelle?

Not sure, but it would seem only if your bank participates with zelle, but doesn't have ability in their own app. Like a small bank.

Been sending payments via zelle while using my chase account for quite some time, rarely do I get that a payment gets canceled on the spot.
 But I tried sending a few dollars to @DealJew and instantly did it get canceled.

 My theory is I save each forum member in my contacts by their username, so for forum member DealJew DDF that's how the payment name would show. I'm thinking that's the cause for the payment being declined.
Curios of anyone sent to him recently and had the same issue?

I sent to him and had no issues. I saved into contacts as dealjew with no issue.

Have you sent to him before? Maybe just Zelle contact info or target bank account switched? Try removing him and adding him again?

Chase doesn’t care what you save your friends contacts as, they pop up the name on the account before confirming the payment. I have it a lot that they cancel payments due to fraud protection, you just need to call them and they’ll put it thru.
