The question is whether you want to be an accountant or not.
Also check whether pace is an accredited school.
ok, good idea. thanks! i will ask around
accounting is not to be an accountant but more of a mind set of financials, and business.

http://goteamed.weebly.com/ - MBA, Special Ed.
thanks so much!!! i appreciate it

i was just told by someone a few minutes ago to look into columbia certificate programs...

The Department of Health gives licenses out for nursing home administrators if you pass the state (NAB) exam. In order to qualify to sit for the exam, you must have any accredited  undergrad (even a BTL from BMG is fine) and must take 5 specific nursing home related courses (administration, finance, ethics, and forgot the other 2) which must be approved by the DOH. I'm not sure what that 3 month/1k course is for. Feel free to ask me any more questions regarding nursing homes administration in NY.

Thanks so much sam! Do you know if this would qualify. I spoke to the office @NYU and they said it is a "non credit cert program"

Here i found this:

I just spoke to TEAM about there online MBA program.

Its 8500 and he says hes fully accredited thru aspen university. The way it works is that every student basically starts on his own, its not a few at a time but every student is assigned there own instructor and the instructor sends them work. It takes around 12-18 months to finish the whole course depending on how many courses are taken at a time.

YIEP is 18k, and takes 2 years. though it sounds to me a bit more legit to thru bellvue than aspen.

Are you sure? A few years ago when I looked into it, I discovered that it was fully accredited but was only recognized regionally (or maybe just here in NY) but not nationally.

Ya thats what you told me so the first email i asked him was that he wrote back ya and sent me a link http://goteamed1.weebly.com/accreditation2.html

Though, i doubt ill do it, seems not up my ally to go thru them. But what does Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business mean? I am reading up online and it says some schools are "accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the gold standard of business school accreditation" and some are not.

IIRC
For things like CPA licensure aspen doesn't count. It has to be regionally accredited at minimum.
Be very careful before purchasing degrees for cheap, do research...

Just a PSA; national accreditation is typically easier to get and less well recognized. Regional accreditation (if done by the proper accrediting agencies) is by far more respected and accepted.
