If you are able to apply with the offer, you'll get it, just I assume the offer will disappear from most people when they log in.

Is there a way to check how much of the 50k cap was used already? Also, is it  based on calendar year or card membership renewal?

Card member year. Just export your transaction history to Excel.

or by history put in the date of the beginning of cardmember year and on the top right there should be the amount you spent

Thanks this sounds easier. Since there is no annual fee, where can i see the  card-member date?

CMIIW, but it should be the begin date for the statement period associated with your card expiration date (if you haven't had your card replaced mid cardmember year).

Quote from amex terms:

With your Blue Business Plus Card from American Express, you earn one Membership Rewards point for each dollar you spend on your Card for eligible purchases. For the first $50,000 in eligible purchases in each calendar year you also earn one additional point (for a total of 2 points). Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, balance transfers, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards; person-to-person payments or purchases of other cash equivalents. Additional terms and restrictions apply.

As per doc if you or your spouse have a BRG you can refer one another using the new refer any card program, and get 30k per signup.
