If i have a citi hilton card  thats going to be converted to an amex after the switch,However i can no longer get amex cards because i underwent f/r  will i be switched over or could that potentially cause problems? and even if that does work can I attempt to apply for another amex again and wont be requested to provide tax forms?

and what would be if someone has already both hilton amexes does his current citi turn into a duplicate amex hilton? is it even possible to apply for the same card on top of another like one citi aa card and two months later with that account still open apply for it again? thank you

Hilton stayed that they will be converted to another Amex even if you have one already. They also said such guy should contact amex to see his options.

is there a reason to keep my citi hilton cards open, 1 will become the new amex hilton ascend card- which would mean I would not be eligible for a signup bonus in the future. am I missing anything?

No reason to keep it open unless you want it converted over for some reason. If you've never gotten a bonus on the surpass them you should definitely close it.

What is going to happen if your annual fee on the citi comes up every June and they give an anniversary free night for every 10k   spent on the card and surpass/ascend  offers a free night after 15 k spent . Is it possible to double dip to get 2 anniversary nights for the citi and spend 15 k to get another free night after citi converts to Amex in February?
