british airways options

can you book elal flight using british airways points. i need 2 business class seats from tlv-jfk on aug 23 and i see availablity but with elal to london and british back to jfk.

would they book this itinerary?

I don't think ElAl and BA are partners. ElAl is not a OW member, although AA and Qantas are FF partners with ElAl.

Qantas doesn't charge YQ on LY.  I priced out TLV-LHR on Qantas and called AA to compare and the miles & $$ needed were identical.
