Author Topic: Trying to find an Award ticket from NY to TLV for end of June (Read 2697 times)

I've been looking for a one way award ticket in coach and business from NY to TLV any time between june 26 - 29 and couldnt find much.
Continental/United had nothing.
Flying Blue has something but with 300$+ in taxes and fees.
AA doesnt have anything available.
When I spoke to the rep at United, she told me that 10 days before departure seats open up, is this true?

Any suggestions?

FS+ YS/ YS-....yeah what do all those mean?

Sorry. + means available / means N/A - means unavailable.
F=First, C=Business, W=Economy plus Y= Economy

Iberia is available in Business on the 26, 27, 28, but I'm pretty sure MAD-TLV is regular coach with an empty seat in the middle

How come when I call United to book something I saw available with star alliance, they tell me it's not available?

Mon, Tues and Shabbos have MAD-TLV-MAD operated by an A340 with lie-flat beds in business. Other days are coach row with empty middle seat

It can be booked with AA, BA, Qantas miles. If you have Amex or Starwood points check out Dan's all inclusive stickyed guide in this catagory

There are 3 seats available in business on 6/28. If they don't see it when they look for the whole trip, have them look at each flight by itself

I put on hold the tickets with Iberia that you found in business. I checked my AA account and it says economy, the code is U.
How is that possible?
Also do you see any other availability to Israel with economy perhaps?

U is Business. I have a ticket on hold, shows the same thing. It will update when you book it
