The Moscow flight won't work - Moscow to Minsk is internal and I would need a Russian visa as well as Belarusian.

On Alitalia I got $1612 per passenger - Total = $3234. If you got a total of $2878 which would be $1439 per passenger, that's a good deal.

there are flights on Turkish for about $1350- but i dont know if your comfortable with that.

Right now, yes. Its Peak travel time. I honestly couldn't say if you should wait or not, you just never know.
