One way
Non-stop preferred

Departure dates: 4/23
Class: Coach
Seats:1

Currently booked on etihad glitch jnb-auh(6:25am)-cdg(2:30pm)-jfk

Also if departing from AUH I would prefer longer layover (8+ hrs) but cdg I'd want to leave right away

looking to purchase a 1-way ticket for 3.21 from LAX-TLV (need to be on the 6:07am flight departing LAX, connecting in EWR and arriving at TLV at 8:25am on 3.22). buying a 1-way ticket is around $2,000.

thus looking to buy a roundtrip / multi city and throw away the return ticket. so does't really matter when the return is, whatever makes the overall ticket price the cheapest.

the lowest i found so far is $969. wanted to see if the experts here can find something cheaper...

NYC - TLV
Looking to get my daughter back to Israel after Pesach.
must leave April 12, 13, 14
Return June 8,9,10,11
Looking for best deal either 1 way now if good price or rewards and worry about return trip later, or round trip/ multi city  if thought to be a better deal now.
Have Ultimate rewards available or Paid again depends on deal available.
Traveling alone  - so would prefer to stay out of war zone countries :) and extensive layovers.
Been checking EL AL, British, Air Canada, United - prices change up everytime I search
Any help would greatly be appreciated. Even willing to apply for new CC for the sign up points if helps - Fico perfect
Leaving from NYC airports or vicinity

Chevra, I need help and advice.

I need to get from NYC to DTW on Friday, Feb 27. Here is my question... what is the latest flight you would take to make it in time for Shabbos in Oak Park? Candle lighting is 6:02pm in Detroit that shabbos. How late can I push it safely?

Avios?

I'd book the 11:40 flight, so even if it gets cancelled, there's still the 2:10pm flight going.
Oak Park is ~30 min from DTW, so even if you land at 5pm you should still have enough time to make it there.

If you do't want to risk it AND have the flexibility, take 1 of the earlier morning flights.

Yes, normally I would take the morning flight. I guess what I am asking is this: am I nuts to take the 2:10pm out of LGA landing at 4:09pm? I know I have sat on the tarmac for two hours at LGA many times.

Like I said in my original post, Shabbos in Oak Park is just after 6pm. Too crazy?
