I I know 40k won't get me 2 tickets, was just putting it out there.  Can someone still assist if I want two tickets, one using points one without?
The longer stopover on the way would be for touring (nothing overnight) and the way back a short stopover would be preferable.  Stopover not completely necessary.

You're probably not going to get one award ticket and one revenue on the same flight, assuming you're trying to spend as little as possible.

Ok thanks for your help.  One more question if you have the time: are the elal flight/hotel deals that they advertise in the Jewish press worth it? The latest one is 1399 for flight and 6 nights in Leonardo hotel or 1149 for flight and 6 nights in Dan panorama.

price it out separately on your own to determine if it is worth it. Remember there are based on double occupancy so they are splitting the hotel cost in 2 to make it seem like it is a good deal.
