Transaero has for $1045 with a stop in moscow. Aerosvit has for $1171 with a stop in Kiev. Iberia has for $1185 with a stop in Madrid.
if you do mind ruffing it, try Iceland expreess + jetair or easyjet. Sorry I can't check myself now.

One way/Round trip: RT
Non-stop/Maximum stops/Any: Non Stop
From: All airports from which you can depart: YYZ
To: All airports which you can arrive at: MSP
Departure dates: Oct 9-11
Return airports: YYZ
Return dates: Oct 23 or 24
Class: Coach
Seats: 1
Alliance/Airline: Any

The best I found was from $585 to $650,  I was wondering if anyone has some idea (or trick) for cheaper? I would take 1 stop if it would be much cheaper.

Thanks, SuperFlyer.  :)

Do you mean cheaper than 2 one-way tix or cheaper than one? I am checking r/t. So far it seems to cost more, like 1385. I found on aa.com 975 1 way, via IST. When should I be checking for the r/t, which return date? Is the cheapest likely to be a month, more, less? What day of week is usually cheapest? For example I can look at return on Sat, or xmas.

Thank you!

If you don't have an Israeli passport, for most its not a problem.

I'd still avoid the place at this point.

I'd still avoid the place at this point.
Their issue is with Israel (not that they like us but most don't know who we are, besides the fact that many of us dont look different to anyone else...) so without an Israeli passport dont see the big deal.
And besides, when in transit you dont go through immigration so there's nobody to talk to, let alone stop you.

But im one thats cool with going to UAE and Indonesia so maybe its just me...

ok AussieBachur, you have a good point but you still are coming off the equipment from TLV so if they want to make a hock, they could. They could use police, they don't need davka immigration. Also maybe you never had this feeling but sometimes it is very scary, and dangerous, being in a foreign place, in middle of nowhere with no idea how to get out. Is that guy following me in the Shuk? He looks like he wants to stab me.. Chas VeShalom! I'm not paranoid but I've been in such situations, like in the middle of a forest in the middle of Russian nowhere, in the middle of the night... It is creepy but it helps you feel close to the Ribono Shel Oilam!

B'kitzur, I would not put myself willingly in IST right now. Its not just you because the planes are stil flying and I assume they are not empty of Yidden... Hashem Yishmor!

a return tix seemed cheaper than buying a one way (per person), look for a date that is at least a week later, max a few month, and plant it in the middle of nowhere, such as november 17 or so.

One way
Non-stop/Maximum stops/Any: Any
From: LAX, BUR, ONT, SNA
To: LHR, LGW
Departure dates: Oct 26, 2011 (He needs to arrive on the 27th)
Class: Coach
Seats: 1
Alliance/Airline: Any

I'm not really familiar with buying international tickets and I have no idea if these are decent prices or not but so I found $402 on Air New Zealand or $858 r/t (returning Mar. 29th) on AA with Kayak.
My dates are not flexible since the ticket is for my brother to go to yeshiva...

Any help would be much appreciated.
