A friend of mine in Israel would like to attend a friends wedding in London on Thursday July 14th. So I've got two questions; First of all is it even possible to make it back to Israel for shabbos? if yes what would be the cheapest ticket? Thanks

Hey -

I'm looking to fly to Israel for half of succos from 10/9-10/17.

I prefer to fly Continental to continue building my elite status and of course in the amazing BusinessFirst.

The cheapest ticket I found was $3400 with a stop on the way there in Frankfurt.  I'd love to find an itinerary just under 3k with one stop in either direction (or direct both ways of course if i can find it!).

Thanks!

Departure dates:Preferably on Sep. 4th, Sep. 5th is also good.
Return airports: Same as 'to'.
Return dates: June 13 or 14 2012

Alliance/Airline: Any as long as it's a normal major airline (no LOT polish..).

We also have miles with AA, BA and USair, (AMEX and possibly others too) but a preliminary search did not turn up good value award availability on September 4th or 5th.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

FYI I just flew TLV>JFK on LOT. While it wasn't 100% like a regular airline, it was definitely on par with low cost domestic carriers.

I had a 3 seat bench all to myself (Aug 1), between TLV and WAR. Considering its a 6:30Am departure and I was up all night that really made a difference. Show me 1 seat empty on direct flights to TLV any time, never mind August.

WAR is a new and small airport, so it's a nice stopover. (granted if you're there for more than a few hours the city isn't much)

Anyone ever fly Kuwait Air JFK-LON???

there's a lot of talk about cheap fares there. And they say all staff is american.

Interesting. I think  some of these types of airlines are better on some routs then others.

Transaero has for $1045 with a stop in moscow. Aerosvit has for $1171 with a stop in Kiev. Iberia has for $1185 with a stop in Madrid.
