i found on ITA Matrix a flight leaving at 8am, non stop for $144. can't find on any site besides for the airline's own site (where it's actually cheaper at $137 USD) which is completely in Italian

We meet again. Seems like a lot of money for that route. You can get business direct with miles for that much. SQ should be able to book the direct flight for around 10k miles.

Use Google Flights to search and book through Lufthansa as a Round Trip for $112 USD per passenger.

Direct Lufthansa flights at 825pm on 7/4 (returning whenever you see the $112 fare).

No need to take the second flight.

OK here goes..

Assuming you want to be back before work Monday morning? And the cheapest option?

Air Transat into Montreal or Toronto is $650ish. Then either drive or fly to NYC (depending on how early you can leave Venice).
If you want the extra hours in Venice, fly into Toronto, then either drive through the night back to NY, or sleep overnight in Toronto and take the first flight (6AM) back the next morning for $133.



There's another option through London into NYC leaving Venice at 3PM, but that would be cash + points (17.5k MR + ~$500), and have you scrambling between airports in London (if this sound more appealing, let me know and I'll send over the breakdown).

i gave up. i couldn't handle the pressure of not having a way home and i spent all day trying to figure this out. thanks for those that helped me on other threads. i paid $1132 via priceline flying aeroflot. ita showed it for $1379, google flights showed it for $1374. somehow priceline showed $1132
