Consider the lax area airports, and drive 3-4 hours, also consider nonstop. For only nonstop flights to LAS the prices are around what you saw.

$1067 for ur dates nonstop from BWI, If u could the night before from IAD, u could get nonstop for $831 roundtrip.

We would like to buy round-trip tickets for a week stay in Israel, originating in the NYC general area, after Tisha B'Av which is July 16.
Currently, there are available stop-over flights for $995.
Should we book them now or is it likely to get something better (i.e. cheaper price or non-stop for same price) in the future, especially considering all the recent deals (which, incidentally, were not for July)?

You could get EWR-AMS-TLV-AMS-JFK for $675 on delta, i could get it for $655.
