Just realize that depending on the phone you sign up with your quality of service can differ. You want to make sure the phone has all the proper bands for sprint service.

Maybe that's why mine was so lousy. Constant echo, no data during calls, generally slow service

What did you expect? That's not going to work until VoLTE is out. That used to work on the early LTE phones that had a separate, discrete chip for LTE.

No idea how any of this stuff works, so I don't know what you're talking about, but with every other carrier there's no problem

You can't use data and voice at the same time, unless voice is transmitted as data, in which case it's treated as regular data packet.

On certain Sprint phones you can now opt in and it will let you have data while making calls.

I've been on this plan since last June. Will sprint get upset with me if I switch to a phone that isn't on the list? I'm looking to replace my moto x with an axon 7 mini.

You have to port in a number from another carrier.

Anyone know how the service will be in NYC? I have a verizon iphone 6 now, and would switch to sprint for the free year. Also, how is it in the catskills?
