    HD streaming:
        Video at speeds up to 1080p
        Music at up to 1.5mbps
        Gaming streams at up to 8mbps
        Unlimited 4G LTE data for most everything else. Data deprioritization applies during congestion.
    10GB of high-speed data per line to use toward mobile hotspot, VPN and Peer-2-Peer usage. Once your 10GB is used up:

I just reinstated my second free year by following the instructions and activating a mobile simcard

FYI there is no mobile hotspot on the plan this time around

I've done 3 hucas with TMobile so far. They keep insisting no way to port without a plan.

I'm assuming your reffering to Sprint, the answer is yes, they don't really care about the Sim card as much as the IMEI being it's officially CDMA, you can never just move the sim, it always requires activation on a different IMEI which is a simple process on the website.

With the pay as you go there's no need to add a plan .. you can say after the port is successful you'll deal with adding airtime.. (it may be a different Sim card, the "digital" one sold on eBay works for perfectly for this)


Does anyone know if and what the charges are for domestic roaming? The only thing I found was that global roaming is included but no details on cost etc or any info about domestic...

I'm on the phone now with Sprint trying to close my account/cancel plan. Apparently they can't close the account on the same day. It only closes at the end of the billing cycle, per the rep.

Is this true?

You shouldn't have to call Sprint to cancel. The point is to port over to T-Mobile. That'll automatically cancel your Sprint plan.

True but it's anyways too late for me to port out by tonight afaik. (Are there any services that port out  a number in a few hours?) I was just trying to avoid fees, not get another year of service.

 I just find it very surprising that it can't be closed right away.

Seems like tethering is no longer included :(
Is there a known hack/workaround to get USB/wireless tethering to work even without it officially being on the plan?

The plan does dot include hotspot. Meaning it won’t work.
Let’s say you make it work with pdanet or similar then they won’t know and they won’t charge you because they don’t know ...., because it does not work ...
