I just came back from Puerto Rico and officially and technically you need a negative test proof when you arrive in the airport, when you arrive at your hotel and when you check in for your return flight ymmv but it was never enforced at any of those times.  Having said that it is better to be tested and have the proof to show when asked.

You were not asked for test results when exiting the airport?

You have to upload your results in order the get the QR code that they scan when you leave the airport.

got it. Your post made it sound as if entry requirements are not enforced. Have plans for chol hamoed but test results might not be in when we land, official site says we will have to quarantine till we get results, anyone have any idea what that looks like ? Can we just go to our hotel if we stay in the room till getting results?

Has anyone been to Culebra and can give advice about getting around there? I'm flying there for the day and car rentals are $72 for the day. I know that there's a shuttle that goes to Flamenco for $5 but is it worth renting a car to explore other beaches?

Called the the Puerto Rico health department. (939-592-5115)
Children under 2 do not need any testing.

As of May 24:
Whoever is fully vaccinated does not need to provide a negative covid test. Only proof of vaccination.

As of May 28:
Anyone not yet vaccinated needs to provide a negative pcr OR antigen test done within 72 hours to arrival.
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.

Yeah right now it's still asking for PCR proof but hopefully tomorrow when it goes into effect they'll update the website.

Yes, on Tuesday they added a new option that allows you to upload your vaccination card. Got my QR code. At the airport you must have your QR code scanned to exit.
