Has anyone been to Culebra and can give advice about getting around there? I'm flying there for the day and car rentals are $72 for the day. I know that there's a shuttle that goes to Flamenco for $5 but is it worth renting a car to explore other beaches?

There are a bunch of golf cart rentals for about $40 per day. Flamenco is definitely the nicest, but also by far the most crowded.  The island is small, so you can get to most places within  20 minutes or so with golf cart. I don't know about Uber - I went before it was widespread.

@Lou Bob @Aerial Dag What is the current situation in terms of attractions and Covid? Is everything more or less open and accessible? I am trying to go there within the next couple weeks.

Any recommendations of things to do while Im there?

Everything that I went to was open. If you're going to El Yunque make sure you book spots as soon as they open up. If you miss that, you can book a spot on the morning before (that's what I did).

agreed. They open up 50 slots exactly 24 hours before. Have to be signed into the website and ready to go right away. Slots are gobbled up in 30 seconds.

Masks were really only enforced inside stores and hotels.
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.

Does the st Regis work with SNA’s? Is there customs in Puerto Rico  that could make problems with meat etc?

to answer my own question Ubers are spotty and if you don’t book a round trip taxi, you’ll run into issues.

Some places have specific exclusions for pregnant woman. If you have a strong partner that can do most of the paddling, I would think its pretty safe. I personally went with my non pregnant wife and did most of the paddling.

Thanks, I called them and they gave a definite NO regarding pregnant women. We booked with Bio Island instead which uses a motorboat and allows pregnant women.

Were you able to go to El Yunque with her? What activities did you do there?

Thanks

Does it feel like a luxury hotel or pretty basic?
