We flew ACY-SJU 7am flight, uneventful. When landing in PR you need to fill out a health questionnaire online and get a QR code. Do it before you leave or you will be sitting around doing it there. one per adult.
We stayed at the Royal Sonesta, using chabad rate. I would definitely recommended the club room, poolside. It a direct access to the pool and includes free breakfast plus daily drinks at the bar free (5pm). Definitely worth extra $150. total was 1050 for 3 nights. The hotel is not luxury but the pool was nice and clean. Large hot tub as well. They also have a direct beach access which was great. To the right of the hotel on the beach is jet skiing and boating. Very convenient. Shabbos we were at chabad. The shul is very nice and spacious, the meals were great. We had a goy push the carriage back to the hotel. One thing in PR they are very strict with masks. Even outdoors many people were wearing them.
Overall the weather was amazing, great beach and pool.

Hi,  has anyone here stayed at the Hyatt grand reserve in PR? I'm wondering specifically if anyone has experience bringing frozen meals to the hotel? We were hoping to bring our own kosher food and heat it up at the hotel.  Does anyone have experience at the grand reserve in particular?

Thank you!

Yes. I was there a few weeks ago.

They do it through room service. There's a per meal fee, and there's a form to fill out. If you email them, they'll send it to you.

They were very helpful, though the service was pretty slow (especially on shabbos when we couldn't call every few minutes to check).

We are supposed to be going to Puerto Rico this Monday.  I called the Hotel there they said even if you have a negative Covid test if you are not vaccinated you will need to quarantine for seven days. Does anyone know if the quarantine is serious? or I don’t need to worry about it?

You don’t need to quarantine. 7 day rule is not enforced as of my experience this past week.
