I was wondering the same and I think I may have an answer. I opened a few corporations a few months ago and over the last 2 weeks we received a targeted 50k offer for each one. I believe one business even got 2. If thats the case then Amex is basically telling new business owners with no or little cash or stability to try to get this card. Vs. the Amex Business Plat which is only targeted to older businesses and explicitly states on app the requirements of not being new.

So u are saying since new "biz" ---first Amex wants you get the card, use it --then wants to be sure ur biz is o.k. --so they fr u --- somehow I do not think amex would want to alienate new clients with a fr --- if this is the case why not also starwood biz etc - why only gold ( if this is the case )

So I think i survived but I am not positive. I got emails today saying they set limits and lowered my CL but my accounts are still suspended. I assume since they lowered the limits and stuff it means I survived but you know what it means to assume.

Yes, that is what happened to me twice.

They should open ur accounts in 1-2 days

by my fr I had the same I just called and they opened my accounts right away

1) Biz Gold is a known F/R trigger, so there may not be much you can do aside from not "over" spending.

2) Don't "over" spend, or do any of the other possibly known triggers (see Wiki).

don't over spend on the gold or on all my parsonal and biz cards
