didnt say i was right but based on my observations Id say it made sense. I never saw or heard of a targeted spg biz app that just shows up in the mail. perhaps they exist, but it seems amex pushes their gold card for new businesses (which is a MR card and not a partner card like the spg) more than any of their other business cards. Additionally the gold card is a npsl and as such theres more room for someone to blow money they dont have. once again this is just my 2 (maybe 1) cents.

I think it has to due with "other" things and not just the type of card -- biz cards just may be more abused by individuals , look above the pre aprvd plat caused a FR ( OR WAS IT OTHER ACTIONS )

Most on Dan's are not what one would call conservative , we/they push the envelope all the way

When doing an 'upgrade' to the Business Platinum from the Business Gold does this require a hard pull?

Also, is this a F/R trigger?

I had this same question a few months ago when I did this, I believe that it does not do a credit pull. Don't know about the FR though.

I didn't do nothing! maybe it was random? or maybe they saw a lot of pulls on my CR?

Since i just passed an FR do you think it is risky to make big charges like AP or since i Just got F/Red they wont F/R me again

Does anyone have any experience with this?

My experience is - I had a F/R and now I spend way over my CL monthly (I spend pay, and repeat) ... So far so good

I know this is stupid, but they only give me 3K CL on a Business account

Is this not something one can ask the rep in charge of their FR? You know, say it causes alot of inconvenience etc and if they can put a note etc.

IIRC, up in this thread there is a report of someone got hit twice the same tax year.

But the thing is if Amex decides you spend too much for what your income is and are a risk they could shut you down
