You typically have 30 days to redeem/transfer them.

They want me to call because of unfinished financial documents

What do I do? Call? What do I say?
How do I get out of this?

Obviously there's much reading to do here but it's too much for my hands now. So if someone can help me or pm me that would be very appreciated!

Honesty is the best policy. Just call and do what they say

There is always the nuclear option. Close all your accounts. Wait 6 to 8 months then apply again.

Anybody here went through an F/R, closed all their Amex cards and after some time had a smooth transition with applying for new cards without being requested F/R docs?

I still say get them to approve bank statements instead of tax return. Minimal pain and you don't have to close accounts. Search this thread for my FR trip report and for my post-FR lessons learned.

I have CC for a few years but never had Amex, finally 2 weeks ago i applied 2BM for amex plat and SPG, I got instaly approved for the plat and got it in the mail within 2 days and got acceptes to SPG 2 days later and and got it in the mail 9 days later.
I started spending on my plat right away and reached my threshold of $3K (prob a stupid idea) and within my 1st week of spending I got F'Rd on the plat and i have no tax forms. This is all before I even had a chance to activate my SPG.
Does this mean im closed for everyhting or should I wait to finish with this and then try my luck activating SPG as if nothing happened?
Any help is appreciated.

"Finishing with this" in your case (without a shred of backup) means preemptively closing your cards (unless you can convince them to take bank statements), and that means losing both cards.

I know you don't want to hear this but didn't everyone here warn you this will happen?? Not that I don't feel bad. It just gets me so aggravated  when people here do stupid things   and even pre warned not to do them IMHO.

no one warned me anything and if theres something specific ur referring to maybe best PM me to what u mean.
bu otherwise im not sure what ur talking about. this can happen to anyone that makes a big transaction . i thought by calling them to notate the account it wold help

I think it was mentioned before that if you haven't activated a card, it won't be affected by the FR and you can just activate it when it's all over. As always, YMMV.

Spending a quarter million dollars in 2 months and my taxes are not that exciting do I stand a chance at staying opened ?
If I do get shut where should I turn for that kind of spending for the best points ?
