How much was alot in a short period of time? Ive spent about 5k in the first 2 weeks of having the card (before going through this thread). no FR yet but based on the comments, its imminent

You MAY NOT get one. The other option is to close the card and start again in a few months.

Even with fr if you have a decent salary what are the chances they shut you down because you don't have a schedule c anyone know ?

If you said on application that the business is new - so it wouldn't have a tax return yet, a personal tax return (for sole propietor) should pass. YMMV

Based on my experience it won't matter. I twas a bit different, but I didn;t have tax return due to low business income but high personal income and they said no matter. Must show biz income.

Did they shut you down because I have read reports on flyertalk of people who had this card and other amex with small income and no buisness tax returns who passed fr just had limits cut majorly.

They wanted to specifically see tax returns with biz name on them. The woman in fact said that if the biz name would have been my name instead of my ebay ID then my personal tax returns would have sufficed. We elected to just shut down all the biz cards instead of having Amex shut them and cause a negative credit mark. We'll likely reapply after 12 months.

Why didn't you do "John Smith Sole Proprietorship" like I recommend?
