they try to contact you to tell you whats happening but even if they dont get thru they still do whatever theyre gonna do

Are Biz Amex charge cards as sensitive as the personal ones when it comes to "starting slowly"?

Anyone successfully start off with large charges?

The Plat 250,000 MR offer requires you to spend $5k *10, I'd like to start immediately...

IINM most people were getting FR'd for heavy spending on the biz plats.

No.

I posted about this here earlier, the AGI on the tax form is a negative number, even though there is demonstrable income.

Just don't want to risk dealing with a Smart-aleck rep that can't read a return properly.

If u see that ur spending limits were cut, u can assume that u passed. That's what happened by me. Then I just called my rep, and she removed the freeze. Whole process took 2 days, from beginning to end

Very interesting. However, I don't know what the limits are/were, so I couldn't gauge by that. But maybe I'll give a call to follow up... Thanks.

U can look on previous statements online. Either it will say how much ur limit was at the time, or it won't say a limit which means that there was none. Either way you can check now if the limits match..

7 months ago me, my wife and my father and mother, all got f/red. We closed all our cards. recently we all applied for deltas. My wife and father got approved, me and my mother had our apps cancelled, and they said we're getting letters for 4506Ts.

Is there a method to this madness?

In short: No
But your wife and father may get immediately FR'd again when they start using their cards

Help!
Last week charged on a biz amex 50k, usually do about 20k / month. Message said suspended until pay down to about 20k.

Today personal cards are suspended....

If I pay the business one down should that help to drop the whole thing? Is this just a regular financial review at this point?

That's not a normal FR . I've never heard or seen this kind of Case but if it's relying you to pay down then that's what they want apparently and the suspension will be lifted on all cards
A recent one I saw was similar in that amex does profile accounts so when accounts spend alot out of usual patern they will freeze till paid

It's not an FR. You just have to pay it down, and you should be good to go. (You're lucky, they often make you pay it in full.)
