DP: I got FR'ed 4 months ago, and passed with bank statements, although they slashed my credit. Today I got approved for Spg business with a 25k line of credit

If you got a FR, but didn't complete it, then your account is still flagged.

I canceled the cards.
At the time I understood from this thread, that if you cancel before they close your account, you can apply again in around 6 months with no issues.

You can apply but it doesn't mean you'll get approved without showing proof of income.

No, it's to get approved at all.

I used most of the CL on an SPG biz card this month twice (paying it twice), and then used it a third time. I'd rather pay it now (before the statement closes), for credit utilization reasons, but I'm worried about FR. Or, perhaps not paying it (and having a higher credit util.) is a bigger FR risk. What do you suggest? Thanks.
