tried calling number on back of card they said have to call back during business hours

Anyone else have this experience? I'm on 30k in amex business thresholds. I have personal income on the books but do not have business income. Business is in my name.

Has your "business" been around less than 15 months? If so, it would be conceivable that you haven't filed taxes for 2014 yet and therefore you don't have any tax documentation. That has been known to fly with some reps.

yes. it takes 30 seconds for the FR team to cancel your cards

I got a letter and a phone call from Amex asking that they want to ask me questions about my business. I made a big purchase and sent a check from my friends business. Any ideas what they want

Sounds like a mini FR to me. They ask you questions, you answer, and you hope things don't escalate. I've never gotten it by letter but that's what they do by phone and it sounds the same. Are your accounts still working?

If your accounts are working it's probably not an FR at all. It's probably worth giving them a call though if you want I suppose you could try to ignore it and see what happens.

No. That's if the name of the biz is your own name. If nor its YMMV but much more likely to have a problem.

Well they're basically giving you theoretically unlimited spending. So that's much more of a risk. Even if they monitor it based on your spending patterns and lower or raise your "CL" it's still s lot more risky than a definitive CL which you were approved for at time of app.
