It's not specifically iphones but the fact that it was a $1500 charge for each order and many ppl over spent what they normally would in anticipation of making $$$

Same idea as coins, and no.

It makes a huge difference the next time when you try to apply for an Amex card.

Resulted with three approvals for me with two of them being instant.

What makes you think it was adding too many aus? have you also recently done large spend for sign ups?

first thing the rep asked me when I called up was why I have so many AU. I have done spending for recent sign ups as well as heavy spending

you can transfer points out even after you shut down the account?

ime it's only if they close your account not if you close it

I would like to believe that the "excessive AU's" was just an added thing they threw in once they decided to FR.

I was also one of the unlucky ones, after chatting a few minutes with the rep I was able to squeeze out that one of my au's isn't doing financially well and he does a lot of charges on the account

And u got f/red because of an au card? Or because the person was messing around with the account?    Please elaborate

On my account the bill was paid in full every statement but unfortunately he wasn't paying his bills

Not sure why that would affect you though. It would be the other way around. If you don't pay, that should affect AU's.

My credit score is in the 8 hundreds it seems that because he was doing a lot of charges on the account they where worried that he won't be able to pay this bill as well even though I have never missed a payment

Interesting as since it is your account, you have the responsibility to pay it and not him.
