i just passed an Amex FR by sending them a couple of recent Checking statements instead of my tax returns , The rep on the phone was very easy to work with.

I mentioned to him that if he were to lower my credit score to notify me as i would rather leave the bank than have my cards canceled or credit line lowered.

He understood and said he will call me before he does anything bpoel  he called me and i passed the FR keeping the same credit line.

Anyone know if this is a FR? Too scared to call.

It can be a range of things, from corporate compliance , Verifying a charge or even a promotional offers etc..

I recently received such a call with a promotional offer.

If its a FR you will have a specific person assigned to your case and he would have left an extension number or a direct line.

Nope, you just got unlucky.  But the FR outcome is pretty boilerplate regardless of the rep in most cases.

My Rep told me that Deciding if your credit will change, stay the same or cards shut down all work through a program that mathematically evaluates your numbers in the System and they have no way of changing the system.

What he said can do for me is that if the system it tells him to change it  before  implementing anything he  let me know beforehand so if need be i can cancel it myself rather than getting shut down.

If true the "Mayle"  is that even if he or she is nasty;  if you "check all the right boxes" nothing will change, the downside is that if sweet talking wont get you more than a call before any implementations are made.

just got F/R call. they want a 4506-t form filled out, i have 2 spg cards 1 personal and 1 business, total of 120k spg points, should i transfer them out just to be on the safe side ? if yes , to which program?

your Starwood points are in your Starwood account, at the close of your statement each month, the points are transferred to Starwood.

My wife just got hit with Amex FR.

We have plenty of income.  however, i dont know how to prove income from business on the biz cards.  please PM me with advice

They didn't ask for anything when I applied . I tried making a large purchase on a business card , which flagged all of my personal and business accounts . I was able to move the points quick enough and then shut all my accounts . They asked for proof of income which I can't prove . However, I used the cards a lot which helped me for business and I would like to get the cards again somehow .
