Make a music video. Pick a good song (Journey's songs work very well), and travel with your family to different interesting places that fit the song theme and shoot videos of your family there. Then mix all the footage with the song. It can be really fun and take months to get enough diverse footage for an interesting result.

Nice idea! You can do something serious, or a comedy, or anything really!
