Flight Tracker vs El Al
« on: June 14, 2017, 01:39:31 PM »
I am seeing a variance of over an hour between the time that Flight Tracker and the ElAl website predict that an ElAl flight which is en route will land at JFK.

Is this normal and which should I trust over the other so that I can get to the airport on time?

IME ELAL (possibly deliberately) give wrong arrival information. Though coming off a 747 which is full to the gills with passangers, getting luggage, getting through passport control and customs, could take a while.

Use Flightradar24.com for most accurate info.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Thanks for the tip.

I agree about the build in time --I usually leave my home when the flight touches down so that by the time I am parked and inside the passenger has most likely been through 3/4 of the process.

On Flightradar24.com you'll be able to see touchdown in almost real time.
