I emailed hertz at statusmatch@hertz.com, i believe thats the correct one. How long does it take to kick in? and how am i notified? do they email me or does it automatically show up?

I took a screenshot of the welcome to gold email that they sent me and that worked fine.

Well I won on this one...heard back from National, but nothing from Enterprise. After 7 days nothing was updated on either account, so I emailed National asking why it had not yet been updated. I got a response that they will look into both accounts and all the usual customer service scripts. Today I got this email. 👇

I did it in January. I sent an email to Profile.update@avisbudget.com with a picture of my Hertz President's Circle membership card, and my Avis account number. The first time I sent it I didn't get an answer. I resent it 10 days later and  got a reply the next day that they upgraded my status.

Got the same response ( except the free day ) more then 2 weeks but it still hasn't updated in the app.

Long story. In short, credits from the 1-2 free day promotion and from a referral didn't show up, and they kept on "doing research" and never ended up resolving it. Every once in a while a Rep would give a free day or two to make up for the hassle. In the end I gave up on chasing that one free day :)
