Why not use Google maps to figure out the distance and just pick which hotel you'd rather stay at? Personally I'd rather use my SPG elsewhere.

If you're concerned about driving time, I'd stay at the marriott emory. Spg in midtown (peachtree) could be 30-45 minutes in Atlanta's notorious traffic. But it's only 10-15 minutes away without any traffic

I think there also is a Marriott at Executive Park, which is as close as you can get to the frum community.

i am heading to atlanta tomorrow, i heard that it takes a very long time to get to the rental car place from the terminals and get through the renting process. i will be very pressed for time. does anyone have experience renting a car in the airport? how long does it take (flying southwest, sixt rent car plat member hopefully can bypass lines there)

No.
Fuego Mundo is approx 10-15 min drive where you can grab lunch.

The JCC is too far (from the peachtree area)

Where are you staying? Peachtree area is very vague. It's like saying "I am staying off of Broadway".
The bakery at Kroger in Toco is kosher (pas yisroel). There is no real breakfast place in ATL.
Alternatively, if you want to pick up bagels/sandwiches and coffee etc, the Spicy Peach opens at 9 or 10 AM.
