In terms of my food experience there, we only stuck to two places Broadway Cafe and Fuego Mundo. Both were definitely impressive for an out of town local.

Broadway Cafe - They are very strict about the breakfast menu ending at 11AM, we got there several minutes later and were denied. The Jalapeno Pizza was good. The hot chocolate basically means that they give you a cup and instant hot cocoa and you make it yourself.

Fuego is great.  To dispel all rumors, it recently sold back to it's original owner.  Fuego is staying kosher.
Broadway is horrible.  It recently sold this past week. All the locals are waiting to see what improvements, if any, this will bring.

Will be in ATL in a few weeks with my kids. Am I missing anything?

Fuego Mundo
Brewsters
Acquarium
Coke factory
Childrens Museum
What ages would most enjoy the coke factory? Is it shayach for 3-4 yr olds or not worth it?

It's a very close call and I think people would be evenly split. Personally I prefer Pita Palace and it's right next to my home.  He's friendlier and you get unlimited salad bar. Ask for a half shawarma, half  pargiot, it's delicious!

Last time I was there I seem to recall the actual pitas in Pita Grille as being visibly smaller than I was used to. Would you say Pita Palace has the same size pita?

Stayed at the Hyatt House Atlanta/Cobb Galleria last week. It's a nice, clean hotel with free breakfast and an indoor swimming pool. It's a CAT 1 hotel and we were able to book the 2 bedroom (1 King / 2 Queen) suite for 8K points a night (since we were staying for 3+ nights). You have to drive wherever you want to go - it's ~20 minute drive from beth jacob (30 minutes when you go during rush hour) and 10-15 minutes from the downtown attractions. Probably not for everyone, but for our big family it was the perfect place - we would go there again.

I don't remember the size at PG.  I don't go there that often.

All the pitas at the kosher eateries are bought from the same Israeli.

I snorted and the pita disappeared. But I could be assuming its smaller because I'm coming from the home of the pita where it's eaten 3 times a day and they wouldn't stand for a small pita.

Anyone stayed at the Hyatt Place - Buckhead? We want to be relatively close to Emory University.  Our alternative is Holiday Inn Express (Decatur). Just can't see spending 35,000IHG on a HIE. Thanks.

We're headed to Atlanta later this month.
Original plan was World of Coca-Cola, but I have just learned about The Center for Civil and Human Rights.
We can't do both.
Does anyone have any experience with this Civil Rights museum?

I have not but the Marriott Executive Park is relatively close. The local shul has a discount rate, or at least used to, with the Marriott.

Thanks -- good to know about.
There are 5 of us on this trip, so having the "suite" at the Hyatt place makes sense, even though it's a little farther out.
