If you drink cholov stam, there are Coffee Beans in all terminals in ATL. The coffees are the same as the whole chain, the food doesn't have a hechsher.

Have fun in the ATL!

I would skip Coke. It is about an hour of videos and walk through of memorabilia.  You are paying to see advertisements, essentially...but may be worth for the "I went to the coke museum" experience.

Get the wings at Fuengo...well worth it!

Wanna surprise my wife for her birthday. She loves aquariums.
Plan is to fly from LGA-ATL  on BA or SW, aquarium and coke museum, early dinner at Fuego Mundo and head home that night.
Feasible or too ambitious?

Slight change of plans...booked first class tickets on Delta ;) will save points for a rainy day

Thinking of taking a july 4th weekend trip to atlanta with my wife and son. son is turning two in august and i have a SW companion pass so want to take advantage of it.

What SPG can I stay at to be near a shul on shabbos? And is there anywhere to have meals on shabbos? Maybe a restaurant where you prepay or something of the sort?

Planing a very quick day trip to Atlanta.
Here's a tentative itinerary
10:55- arrive
11:30- get car and leave airport
12:15- broadway cafe (restaurant)
1:15- Leave to CNN studio tour
3:00- coca cola tour
4:15 Chei Peking (in kroger)
5:00- millenium park? (what is it? I can't find any info about it online but someone upthread recommended it)
6:00 Fuego Mundo
8:00 chill at the hotel (Sheraton atlanta)

Flight is at 7:15 am the next day

IMO, 4.15 is cutting it close.  Allow 30 minutes (to be safe) from downtown to Toco Hills.  Only gives you 45 max at coke.  Is Millenium Park downtown?  If so, that is also cutting it close.  Can you bring back some Publix iced tea to Lakewood?  :-)

I recently did a day trip to Atlanta. It'll take you longer to leave airport. You need two trains to get to car rental. We did aquarium and coke tour. IMHO coke was a waste of time. Basically you pay $17 each to get advertised to. The only cool part was the tasting room where you can taste almost every variety of coke product. I wasn't comfortable drinking anything from other countries due to kashrus so it wasn't as exciting for me. We still left extremely nauseous and didn't enjoy our dinner as (Fuego Mundo) much as we could have.

So what else is there to do in atl that's exciting instead of the coke museum? Not interested in the aquarium because I was just at the atlantis and got my fish fix lol

Although I have not been to Coke since they remodeled, I would agree with your assessment.  However, someoone who enjoys nostalgic memorabilia may enjoy the trip.

There is a kosher restaurant in Sandy Springs that has one.  We used it when we were there in the summer.

Cool.  Though there's no need to find a kosher restaurant as they'll all good to go according to the OU.
There's even an app to find the machine.

That's almost the exact same machine as in the factory tour. Though, all the ones near me are in non-kosher restaurants which is a little awkward to walk into.
