Cool.  Though there's no need to find a kosher restaurant as they'll all good to go according to the OU.
There's even an app to find the machine.
I vaguely remember seeing something from the ou, but I forgot why they said it would be ok.  Isn't the tubing, or at least the spout somewhat shared?

The old Coke museum had a neat room, where the coke would shpritz from a machine around 20 feet away, in to your cup.  Best part of the place, not sure why they got rid of it.

Planing a very quick day trip to Atlanta.
Here's a tentative itinerary
10:55- arrive
11:30- get car and leave airport
12:15- broadway cafe (restaurant)
1:15- Leave to CNN studio tour
3:00- coca cola tour
4:15 Chei Peking (in kroger)
5:00- millenium park? (what is it? I can't find any info about it online but someone upthread recommended it)
6:00 Fuego Mundo
8:00 chill at the hotel (Sheraton atlanta)

Flight is at 7:15 am the next day

Why pick up chai Peking if you're going to Fuego?  Itll be out of your way.

As to why he needs both, IDK.

But, it is not so much out of the way.  To get to FM from downtown (without taking back roads), you would take 85 to 285.  He can get off on N Druid Hills and travel approx 2 miles to Kroger.  Then he can take N Druid to Roxboro to Roswell (prob better this way with rush hour on 85 and 285).  IMO, total of 15 minutes out of the way (not including if they have to wait for the food at Chai Peking).

Save your appetite for Fuego ;)
If you want a snack....get ardens garden smoothies (locations throughout ATL) or brusters.

Fuego is definitely in the plans.

I'm alone so I'm not sure a carriage ride is in the plans.

Braves are playing the Red Sox.  Are there an great seats to be had cheap? I'm not a huge sports fan..  so I'm not sure about that.

Peachtree plaza and laser show sound like they'd be more enjoyable with someone.... so I'd probably skip those.

Anybody want to meet up at Fuego for dinner and mini DO?

Depending what time your meeting ends in the AM, let's be in touch. I will be around ATL as well.

Planning a summer vacation with the family on lake Lanier (about an hour north of Atlanta) from aug 10 to 21.  We will have a Sefer Torah but may be short a few for minyan.  If anyone is considering being at the lake during this time please contact me here.  By the way the schools in Georgia start sessions that week so the lake should be very quiet.  We are renting a large house in Gainesville

Challah from publix Toco hills was excellent and reasonable at 3.49 for a large loaf. (Costco is cheaper but not as fresh).  Anyone visiting world if coca cola this month Thanks to the Fan Days at the World of Coca-Cola offer, you can text WOCC to 66937 to get two tickets to the World of Coca-Cola for $25 . The offer expires on October 15, 2014.

All in all this has been a fantastic trip.

I've created a wiki with the info that I've found from previous posts. If anyone local(ish) can take a look and update more accurately that would be great!

I am planning a mini 3 day vacation with my wife to the ATL around New Years. Considering staying at the Grand Hyatt or Hyatt Regency. Anyone stayed there? Their normal rates seem pretty inexpensive, is it worthwhile stay-wise and location-wise? Also any other activities or scenic areas that haven't been mentioned in the wiki?

Thanks!

I am planning a 3 day, Sunday to Tuesday night, trip to Atlanta in January, I'YH, no Shabbos involved. Should I stay at the SPG Peachtree hotel or the Marriott Emory that seems closer to shuls and restaurants. I will have a car but I am not sure how far the peachtree is from food and shul.
